Gameplay
PokeBall is a 3D platformer where you control a PokeBall on a quest to catch Pokémon and reach your owner, which marks the end of the level and progresses you to the next one. Jump, avoid obstacles, and time your movements carefully to make it past enemies and moving platforms to reach your trainer.

About the Game
This game was created as part of my Level Design I class project. The assignment began with a basic Roll A Ball package, but each of us had to implement unique mechanics and create a README for it, then submit it to the class discussion board. I chose to incorporate a dash mechanic where pressing Shift makes the PokeBall dash in its current direction, with a stamina bar that limits its use. To meet the project requirements, I also included jump mechanics, moving platforms, and enemies that chase the player.

This was the first project where I created a design document, complete with an IPM chart and level mockups, which guided the creation of the levels in the game. For added fun and depth, I based the game on the Pokémon universe because I believe that games should have a theme or story to enhance player engagement.
